Dr. Russell Johnson is an Assistant Professor of Management at Michigan State University and an associate editor of the Journal of Business and Psychology. Previously, he served on the faculty of the University of South Florida. Dr. Johnson received his PhD in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Akron. His research, which focuses on how employee attitudes and behaviors are affected by motivation-and leadership-based processes, has been published in numerous psychology, organizational behavior, and management publications. Dr. Johnson currently serves on the editorial boards of several journals, including the Academy of Management Journal, Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Leadership and Organization Development Journal, The Leadership Quarterly, andOrganizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes.
